My goal as your Melbourne Doula is to provide a memorable, fulfilling and rewarding experience for both Parents, supporting the mother, to trust in herself, in her bodies’ ability to give birth, and in the birth process itself.
I am a young mother of 3 beautiful, now adult children, I am passionate about empowering women through the experience of childbirth, encouraging and supporting them through the birth experience. I have personally experienced 2 incredibly amazing wonderful home births, sadly, a still born, and by choice a hospital birth, resulting in a caesarean; I have also assisted several friends with the births of their children.
These experiences have taught me to be understanding, accepting, non judgemental and supportive of each and everyone’s journey. I believe that giving birth is the second most amazing experience that a woman can enjoy.
A baby created in a loving and safe environment has every right to be delivered in that same atmosphere. My goal as your Doula is to provide a memorable, fulfilling and rewarding experience for both Parents, supporting the mother, to trust in herself, in her bodies’ ability to give birth, and in the birth process itself.
